Navodaya Vidyalaya application for admissions 2022: To get admission in Navodaya Vidyalaya the aspirants should write a common test JNVST, for class 6th, 9th, and 11th. Navodaya Vidyalaya Application Procedure
The applicants can follow the below given process to fill the application form easily.
- The applicant first needs to go to the official portal of NVS.
- Search for the application form from the homepage.
- Once you click on the application, you’ll be redirected to the registration form.
- Here you need to fill in all your personal details including mobile and aadhaar number.
- Attach the required document proofs.
- Once the application is done, you should recheck before submitting it.
- Click on the Submit button to finalize the application.
- They will give you a submitted form along with a reference number which is needed for further.
- The applicant should take a print out of the application and keep it safe.
NVS Admissions Eligibility
- The age criteria of the students must be between 9 to 13.
- All applicant categories including SC, ST, OC, OBC, BC, and etc… are eligible.
- The student must be studying in Class-5 for the entire academic year seeking admission in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
- No candidate is allowed to apply for the second attempt if he failed the first time.
- At least 75% of the seats are reserved for rural areas and the remaining 15% of seats for Urban areas.
- 1/3 of the seats are reserved for Girl candidates.
- The allowed seats for SC and ST candidates in proportional to the total population of the village.
- 3% of the seats allotted for disabled students.
- A child who has studied at an urban area school at least for a single day is considered an Urban student.
- The medium of language for the exam is Hindi or English.
