Eligible beneficiary households receive a monthly financial assistance of Rs. 830 through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT). The selection of potential beneficiaries is conducted at the block and district levels, and only eligible households can apply. The final list of beneficiaries determines the allocation of financial support. The funds are transferred via DBT in the name of the female member of the household, preferably as she is often the primary breadwinner. Priority is given to households with female members, as empowering women is one of the key objectives of this scheme.

Orunodoi Scheme 2023 provides a monthly allowance of Rs. 830 to eligible poor households in Assam.
