Arunodoi Scheme 2024 : The Assam government has introduced a new financial assistance scheme called the Arunodoi/Oronodoi scheme to support economically disadvantaged and poor families in the state. The state government has allocated approximately Rs. 2,800 crore for this scheme.

The selection of potential beneficiaries is conducted at the block and district levels, and only eligible households can apply. The funds are transferred via DBT in the name of the female member of the household, preferably as she is often the primary breadwinner. Eligibility

  • Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam.
  • They must currently reside in the state.
  • The total annual household income from all sources should be below 2 lakhs.
  • The beneficiary (female member of the household) must have a bank account, and the name on the bank account details should match the information provided in the system.
  • If the beneficiary does not have a bank account, they must open one before the application acceptance date.

How to Apply Assam Orunodoi Scheme Online ?

Step 01: The application for this scheme can only be made using the designated Application Form.

Step 02: To avail the benefits of the scheme, the family must nominate a woman from their household.

Step 03: The Application Form should be filled out with the following information regarding the nominated woman:

Step 04: The applicant should submit the duly filled Application Form to the nearest Urban Local Body Office or Gram Panchayat Office.

Step 05: After submitting the Application Form, the Urban Local Body or Gram Panchayat Office will provide the applicant with an acknowledgement slip.

Step 06: The acknowledgement slip serves as proof that the applicant’s Application Form has been submitted.

Step 07: Various committees at different levels will review and thoroughly verify the received applications.

Step 08: After thorough verification, the list of selected and eligible beneficiaries will be uploaded on the portal, and the transfer of the amount to their bank accounts will occur on the first day of every month.
