The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Aditya launched a scheme called Rashtriya Parivarik Labh Yojana (National Family Benefit Scheme). The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to economically backward people.

The previous year the government provided Rs. 20,000 but earlier (2013) year they decided to provide Rs. 30,000 to the poor families. When the family head died then will provide Rs. 30,000 as financial support from the UP government. The willing people can apply for the scheme online to avail all benefits. The payment will be transferred directly to the beneficiary bank account.

To apply for the Rashtriya Parivarik Labh Yojana then follow the simple process given below:

1. Firstly, visit the official website of the Social Welfare Department through the given link. http://nfbs.upsdc.gov.in/
2. It will be redirected to the Homepage.
3. Click on the New Registration located on the homepage.
4. The registration application form will display on the next screen.
5. Fill up the application with your details.
6. Type your mobile number and verify it via OTP.
7. Also, enter the Bank account details.
8. Attach the required documents to the application.
9. Enter the verification code correctly.
10. Once you fill the application, recheck all your details.
11. Click on the ‘I accept all terms and conditions’ option.
12. Select the Submit button.

Eligibility Criteria for Rashtriya Parivarik Labh Yojana

• The family income should be less than Rs. 46,000/- of rural areas and in urban areas the family income should less than Rs. 56,000.
• The person should be the resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• To get the benefit amount the beneficiary head of the family has died when his age should be above 30 years.

2. Click on the status of the application option located on the homepage.
3. On the next page, enter your application details.
4. Select the district and type account number and registration number.
5. Click on the Submit button.
6. The next page will display the application status.
